The tent is used on deck when jointing “HVCD” cable. It helps to secure the correct temperature and humidity. It also keeps the jointing area clean for unwanted particles, which is crucial for the jointing result. The system consists of two electrical driven roll’s with PVC coated tarpaulin for roof and sidewalls. Loose end wall fabric. Special in-let and out-let sleeves for cable(s). Framework made of aluminium which can be mantled and dismantled without having the need for special tools. Easy to store on the ship’s hull side when not in use.
